Imperial’s CIMA Students Gain Practical Insights at Brandix Rambukkana

October 25, 2025

CIMA students from Imperial College recently visited the Brandix factory in Rambukkana, where they gained first-hand experience of one of Sri Lanka’s most innovative apparel manufacturing environments.

The visit was organized by CIMA Sri Lanka to give students a deeper understanding of how business and management concepts are applied in real industry settings. At Brandix, they were able to observe the full production process, from planning and operations to sustainability initiatives and quality control.

Students also learned how Brandix integrates technology and innovation to maintain its position as a global leader in the apparel industry. The experience gave them valuable insights into how large-scale organizations manage supply chains, ensure efficiency, and uphold strong sustainability standards.

For Imperial’s CIMA students, the Brandix factory visit was a meaningful opportunity to connect academic learning with real-world practice and to better understand the professional standards expected in today’s competitive business environment.
