OVERVIEW

This exclusive programme has been developed in order to provide students between 15 to 17 years , a basic understanding on the current technological developments, basics of the legal framework and contemporary issues. The programme provides a foundation to all students regardless of their discipline of study and covers topics that they will continue to build upon during their further studies forming the basis of lifelong learning.

Students will be engaged in implementing projects, working in teams, gathering information through research and presenting their findings, all skills that for an essential part of their future development


MODULES STRUCTURE

The programme consists of 4 basic modules, each of which will be taught over 10 hours (total duration of the programme being 40 hours).

The programme covers the following modules

Basics of Law (Law for dummies) - BL

ASSESMENT


The relevant assessments for each module will be as follows

Digitalisation and digital technologies- Group presentation (each student will be required to present for 7 minutes and will be assessed individually)

Entrepreneurship and Innovation – Individual Assignment (1,200 words)

Corporate Social Responsibility – Group Practical Project followed by a presentation.

Basics of Law (Law for dummies) – Individual Assignment (1,200 words)


AWARDING CRITERIA


Award of Distinction

Candidates will be awarded distinction for the programme with a mean mark of 70% or above.



Merit / Distinction - Mean mark of 70% or above
Pass - Mean mark of 50% or above
Fail - Mean mark below 49%
