To people like me, art is not just an action; it’s a form of expression. It an echo of my consciousness; a cry of misery and sometimes, a burst of joy.

From as long I can recall and as distant as my memories get, a hazy flash of my little self, trying my hand at drawing with my mother by my side is what prints itself behind my eyelids.
With time, I’ve found myself to be frolicking around a soft spot for cartoons and doodles which is a fondness evolved unconsciously.

I’ve observed myself to play a particular level of intellect at color matching and color blending. Yet, I wish not to be ensnared by the barriers of my skills and I hope to feel the liberty to branch out into other forms of art like realism. Apart from forms, I also try to vary my medium as a protocol in avoid falling into mediocrity and monotone. I’ve given a go at painting on pots, wood, banners and even different aspect ratios of paper.

And also, I’d like to say that my success and my run at this craft could not have been possible if not for the support and motivation my friends and family have given me.
For a while now, I’ve been maintaining a social media account @devincreations on Instagram and the feedback people have extended has been priceless.

When I ask myself why I keep doing this albeit my busy schedule I find myself answering with a simple reason; I do it for the people I love and those who love my craft.
If I can put a smile on someone’s face with my work, I have not drawn in vain. And that reason alone, is enough for me.
