OVERVIEW

The BA Global Business Degree is an extension of the successful relationship between UWS and ICBS. The Degree is an outcome of research conducted among corporate and students on the need for an academic qualification. The Degree provides an academic qualification that over 12 months (1 year) moulds students into work ready graduates with not just a mix of the most recent up to date subject knowledge, but also with the ability to apply the theoretical knowledge to industry.

The BA Global Business also encompasses development of soft skills, ensures students undertake research and present a final project all of which are elements that have been built into the program based on feedback from industry. In addition to the up-to-date syllabus content, the requirements of industry being incorporated into the qualification ensures that students graduate with skills and qualifications that are demanded by the industry, making them truly work ready and employable graduates.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

1. Diploma in International Business & Finance

2. ACCA Knowledge Level (F1, F2 & F3) with Skills Level (F4)

3. CIMA Certificate Level (BA1, BA2, BA3 & BA4) with Operational Level (E1)

4. Completed Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT)

5. Executive level of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CASL)

6. Diploma in Applied Banking and Finance (DABF)

7. Higher National Diploma ( HND )

8. Advance Diploma in Credit Management
