Imperial College of Business Studies – Kandy Campus recently held a vibrant orientation program coupled with an engaging activity day for students enrolled in the IBF, SQA Level 06, CIMA Cert BA, HND, and BSc programs. The event, which took place on 28th September at the Oak Ray Hotel in Kandy, was designed to welcome and integrate the new batch of students into the ICBS community. The orientation program aimed to familiarize students with the college’s standards, academic expectations, and the array of opportunities available to them during their academic journey. Faculty members provided valuable insights into the respective programs, offering guidance on how to navigate their studies while also emphasizing the importance of building a strong network within the academic community. To further promote student interaction and foster a sense of friendship, the day included a variety of ice-breaking activities. These activities were strategically designed to enhance engagement, and allow students to connect with their peers in a relaxed and enjoyable environment. The successful event has set a positive tone for the academic year, with students now ready to embark on their educational journey at ICBS, armed with both new friendships and a clearer vision for the future.
