TThe vibrant spirit of the Sinhala and Tamil New Year took center stage recently as “Avurudu Sajje ’26” brought the Kandy community together for a day of tradition, joy, and camaraderie. This spectacular event was organized by the Interact Clubs of Hillwood College, St. Anthony’s College, Girls’ High School, and Kingswood College, representing a powerful collaboration of the city’s leading student communities.
As a leading institution committed to empowering the youth and preserving cultural values, Imperial College of Business Studies was honored to be the Title Sponsor for this spectacular event.
Held on the 16th of April at the P.T. Rajans Ground in Kandy, the festivities kicked off at 8.00 A.M. The air was filled with excitement as participants engaged in traditional Avurudu games and cultural activities, showcasing the rich heritage of Sri Lanka.
