Imperial College Colombo Campus students recently concluded a successful Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative at Gamunu Primary School, Kalahe, making a lasting impact on the school community.



Through several fundraising activities, including food stalls, bookmark sales, ticket sales, and donations, the students raised funds to support the project.
The funds were used to:
- Donate a new sound system to the school.
- Repaint and refresh the school auditorium.
- Establish a library for students.
- Organize fun and engaging activities for the children.
- Distribute stationery packs to support their learning.



This initiative reflects Imperial College’s commitment to developing socially responsible leaders who are passionate about giving back to the community. The students’ dedication, teamwork, and generosity have created a positive and lasting impact on the lives of the children at Gamunu Primary School.
