That moment when someone who I do not recollect to my memory pushed a box of crayons into my little fingers is the moment this perennial journey began. Art is by far, the highest form of liberty. The purest form of freedom. At least, to me.
I’m inclined to believe that if my artsy personality fades away into oblivion, what shall remain of me is a mere shell. For all my immaculate dreams and feelings are made possible by art. The act of turning paint into pictures.
I’ve experimented with several forms of art. Realism, abstract expressionism, cubism and etc. I’ve thrown my luck at mediums like watercolor, pencils, acrylic and pastel. But I think my prime fort is portrait art. I enjoy it the most and certainly show a promising skill in that particular field.
The support of my friends and family has been overwhelming. I began an art account on Instagram @chromatic_tip and the support and motivation I receive is precious. I’m truly grateful to all those who support me.
See, in art, there is no right and wrong. No truth or lies and no good or bad. There is only perspective. In art, I feel free to express myself in any way I wish to. And if art were to diminish off the face of earth, the world shall become a stranger to me.
That is why I draw parallels with the fact that art is the highest form of liberty. And it’s a liberty I’d pursue till death shall part.
